Timothy Griesel Photography grew out of a love and admiration for the African bush. I’m a wildlife photographer and content creator with a passion for teaching and photography, and the aim behind every image here is simple: to help people appreciate the beauty of the natural world, and to inspire others to experience Africa through photography.
Every image on this site was made on location — never staged, never studio-built. Right now, everything is available as a licensed digital download, plus a growing collection of Lightroom presets built for African light. Fine art prints aren’t sold directly through the site yet; if you’d like one, get in touch and I’ll quote you directly.
Where This Work Happens
I’ve been privileged enough to visit a long list of reserves and protected areas across Southern Africa — see the Expeditions Map for the full list, and Field Notes for write-ups on individual reserves as they’re added. Every digital download sold helps fund the next trip back into the field.
